Sullivan Shines at Silverstone
Rnd 4 of the FIA Masters championship was the worlds biggest Historic race meeting - The Silverstone Classic. With almost perfect weather and some of the most iconic cars in history - It was set to be a great weekend. The start of Friday’s qualifying session saw a monsoon like downpour which favoured those which were out on track for the first lap; unfortunately the team went out at the back of the 50+ car grid, resulting in 18th place overall and 8th in class. In the race Liam was assigned second stint. At the start of the race Sullivan’s team mate suffered significant damage which meant the car was difficult to handle. After 25minutes Liam got in the the car. Even though the damage affected driveability, he got the car up to 5th place and nearly set the fastest lap. Liam and the Moto-Lita & Aviation Leathercraft team are looking forward to Round 5 at Zandvoort for the Historic GP at the end of August.
